My Garden

#1 Postby Bestofour » Fri Aug 01, 2003 10:04 pm

Stutler a man at the Green Thumb Club posted my garden, actually my yard, on his web page. http://stutlerbvjl.wirefire.com
If you're interested in taking a look at mine and many gardens more sophisticated and beautiful than anything I've ever done, try his site. Mine is on page 6 of other gardens. It's Sheri's garden in Monroe, NC USA.

I love the picture of the hydrandras (sp?) with the potted flowers!

How do you keep your coreopsis from drooping? Mine aren't standing up and it seems to be just me. Everyone else who has them their's stand up nice and tall. The same with a few of my hostas and this is also after it hasn't rained for a few days.

My coreopsis does droop a little bit sometimes. When it's good and moist it perks back up. I don't know about the hostas. Mine looked wilted all last season because of the drought so maybe they aren't getting enough water or maybe too much sun. Someone else with a lot more experience will have the right answer for you.

Perhaps the stems on the hostas were too heavy. The leaves are green and lush - we've had PLENTY of rain. The coreopsis probably need to be trimmed back, but there's still flowers on them.
