What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?

This year, she forgot the salt and pepper. But, it was a great dinner.

We always get together at my parent's house for Thanksgiving. This year, it was at my house, for the first time. I finally have a house big enough that everyone wanted to do it here. I had 18 people here for the better part of the day and night, adults and kids, with friends popping in and out early in the day. We had mountains of food as everyone brought dishes and desserts, plus everything I cooked. Cowboys in the afternoon, Longhorns at night. Both won. A wonderful family where we all get along and enjoy being together... a lot to be thankful for.

Hade Thanksgiving at my house. The bird turned out beautifully.

Marty had been working on building a table for our dining room. We didn't have a dining room set, just a little cafe table with a few chairs. In the prior years we've put together a few tables. The table IS GORGEOUS! It's made of oak with premade pine table legs. He stained it a red oak color. It love the grain of oak. Now we can sit 3 on each side comfortably. He may attempt to make chairs to go with it. I'm so excited about it!
