I was actually in Tallahassee on Thursday for a separate school trip. I was able to go to the capitol and the Museum of Florida History. I was not able to visit Florida State, but I was able to see it! haha. I was able to go to the 22nd floor of the Capitol Building and take pictures of Tallahassee including FSU. I was able to go around Tallahassee a little bit including the museum and the local Chili's (which the bus driver almost crashed through the front door of). I also now know that Tallahassee has a mass transit system (the StarMetro).
Today, I made a couple of moves. I filled out the Residency paperwork to prove I was a resident of Florida and get Florida (In-State) Tuition rates. I also signed up for Orientation on July 9th (the day before my birthday). I will probably go up on the 8th, and come back on the 9th. At orientation, I will get a tour of campus, sign up for classes, ask questions, and learn about FSU. I also got my FSU ID # today that allowed me to explore the online modules. A few moves down, a thousand to go...
