High School Reunion

#1 Postby Ptarmigan » Sun Jun 13, 2010 11:27 am

Last night, I went to my high school reunion. Many of my classmates changed. Some are married and even have children. Some I have not seen in years. Everything is good. Well, you cannot say much about the world though. So much bad things happened in terms of disasters from terrorism, weather, and accidents; 9/11, Katrina, Ike, Haitian Earthquake, and Gulf Oil Spill. 9/11 still gets to me the most. I remember watching that horrific terrorist attack unfold on that Tuesday. Really makes me sad. :(

Otherwise, I had a great time. :grrr: :cheesy: 8-)

Don't focus so much on the bad things but focus on the good things in life. Many more good things happen, they're just not as publicized as disasters are.

I'm helping plan my *gasp* 35th class reunion. It's alot of fun to be in on the planning stages.

I don't. It's just that I really was profoundly affected by 9/11 because 3,000 people are dead and the World Trade Center is gone. I will never forget 9/11. :flag:

My life is very good, got a great job and enjoy my life. Some of my friends are married and have children.

It is cool your are planning your 35th class reunion. My friend planned this class reunion.

WE won't even talk about what year reunion I just skipped!!    I didn't care to go back because unfortunately I did not enjoy it at all. Most of the old hs cliques are still there. Many have not moved on.

I think our old class got lazy - this should be the summer for our 25th reunion, but, if I remember
correctly, it was decided a few reunions ago to do them on the even years, so, next up is 2015.
I think involvement on planning was slim, falling on a very few good people to pull it off. I'm hoping
that Facebook helps to change all of that, next time around, as a lot of our class seem to have
found each other there.
