Free Buffett

We scored 4 tickets... !!
just plain lucky though. It took 4 computers trying at the same time. Home (wife) and all three here at the office
and the home computer was the only winner. I can't say I personally know of anyone else that got any.
I heard on the radio thet ticket master had over 1,000,000 that tried in the first 10 minutes online.

I wouldn't be surprised if only 15,000 to 20,000 people actually show up.

Lucky you!!!! You'll have a blast!

Did you see where ebay is not allowing the tickets to be scalped? I hope all the other ticket resale sites follow suit.

Scalped Jimmy Buffett tickets banned from eBay

As usual, tickets to Jimmy Buffett's July 1 concert were gone in a matter of minutes.

But this show's a little different. These were the 35,000 free tickets to Jimmy's beach concert in Gulf Shores, Ala., to show support for the oil-spill-stricken area.

So when tickets began appearing for sale on eBay for more than $100 each, eBay officials released a statement saying they would not allow the tickets to be sold on the site, reports AP.

For all the fans who missed out on the free tickets, a portion of the show will air live on CMT from 7 p.m. to 8:30 pm.

Watched on CMT. Sounded like a good show. I like when he was singing and said "Its all BP's fault". Looked like quite a few people showed up......MGC

I saw him once up here in NJ - the week before 9/11. I'll never forget that and I'll never forget that concert. Parrot heads rock! LOL!

I was there with my three children and husband. We didn't get tickets in the beginning but manage to find tickets at the concert. It was packed and Buffett put on a good concert. Here are some pictures from the concert.
