Quick and fun test to see if you are liberal or conservative

#1 Postby JetMaxx » Thu Aug 14, 2003 1:40 am

I ran across this on another weather board. It's a short, fun test to determine how liberal or conservative you are....
http://www.self-gov.org/quiz.html

I tried to copy/paste the little graph showing my results, but it won't work (neither did Webscissors.com :grrr:

Here is the text results for me...and what it means is I'm smack dab in the middle of "right-conservative" (duh! :D

Well, here is how I did:

This was very intresting for me. I've never tried to label myself when it comes to political beliefs.Here's my results;

Personal self-government score~ 70%
Economic self-gov. score~ 50%

Centrists favor selective government intervention and emphasize practical solutions to current problems. They tend to keep an open mind on new issues. Many centrists feel that government serves as a check on excessive liberty.

I learned something about myself today ! ~K

Here's a shocker:

Left-Liberal
Left-Liberals prefer self-government in personal matters and central decision-making on economics. They want government to serve the disadvantaged in the name of fairness. Leftists tolerate social diversity, but work for economic equality.

Your Personal Self-Government Score is 70%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 30%.

I can't take the test because Websense blocks me.

But makes no difference...I already know the answer:

Conservative

On this test, I came out on the far border between "Libertarian" and "Right-Conservative"...just about where I thought I'd be.

Does sleep make one more conservative or liberal??

I just took the test again (wide awake this time :D, and I'm now 90/10...almost as "right conservative" as you can get :o :o

I'm the most conservative in my family to take it so far (Becky and Beth haven't taken it yet).

Some of the issues on the site I am not sure about; even voting for "Maybe" -- but I took part in it anyway.

Your Personal Self-Government Score is 40%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 60%.

Scores falling on the centrist border are counted as centrist.

Libertarian 35.38%
Left-liberal 18.85%
Centrist 30.02%
Right-Conservative 7.24%
Authoritarian 8.51%

I for the most part of conservative views and always vote Republican, not actually knowing if I should or not. My parents don't "literally" force me to vote for certain candidates, but strongly suggest that I do on specific issues. I know we aren't getting specific on this thread, but I though I'd just mention it.

In at least the last few years I have been feeling more and more like an independent. According to my Florida Voter's Registration Card, I am a registered Republican. For the record, Massachusetts voters do not have a 'voters registration cards.'
