Yea Old Spencer Bushwhaced him:):). I had a feeling sooner or later those two would be going at each other. They have had a feud now the last year or so:):)

one of the problems is
the fact that cars cant pass each other anymore. drivers have to push the other car out of the way. it is causing alot of hot tempers

Yes, on the Super Seeedways passing can be almost impossible anymore. As fate would have it next week they are racing at Bristol, a perfect place to do some banging. I would bet ( if Spencer isnt suspended) that Busch and Spencer will end up racing together most of the race lol. It seems when 2 drivers are having a tiff they always end up in the same area on the track:):) Alot of people will be watching because tempers always flare at Bristol between drivers:):)

There have ALWAYS been hot tempers and fights after stock car races...as long as I can remember (even at the local speedways around Atlanta).
Anyone else remember Bobby and Donnie Allison and Cale Yarborough brawling on the backstretch after a crash at Daytona in 1979? What about Bill Elliott and Dale Earnhardt after the Winston in the mid-1980's?? (after Earnhardt wrecked Awesome Bill...why I was never a fan of #3).
I also remember Kyle Petty going after Bobby Hillin Jr at the 93' Daytona 500....Kyle is a very laid back guy; yet he was wrecked while leading the race and lost his temper.
Hot tempers and fisticuffs are as much of Nascar history as checkered flags and victory lane. Heck, I'm laid back and wanted to take Kevin Harvick's head off after he spun #24 at Watkin's Glen last week....if I'd been Gordon, I'd have knocked Harvick's teeth out for that stunt.
IMO getting the cops involved in a fight between two racers is ridiculous. If Kurt Busch is too much of a wimp to fight his own battles without swearing out a warrant for the other driver's arrest, he needs to find another line of work (what next...lawsuits over who caused the "big one" at Talladega?
BTW - I'm not a fan of either Kurt Busch or Jimmy Spencer...Spencer's a hothead and Busch is a pompous little smart#ss.
Just my .02 cents worth...from a lifelong Nascar fan.

I'm a Tony Stewart fan myself. Tony has been ridiculed by the press so often for his hot temper, however many other drivers have the same characteristics. Thankully, he took anger management courses and is quite a bit more lighthearted this season than ones prior to this. If you ever go to a race when Tony Stewart is introduced, the crowd boos. I'm glad to see someone else under the gun for once.

Thats part what makes Nascar exciting to follow, the personalities. Its exciting to watch the race and what might happen or be said after the race.Unlike say Golf which for the most part is a bunch of rather bland guys( Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia are rare exceptions) You love or hate drivers in Nascar.
