Saddam was one of the most gifted hoodwinkers in the Middle East...I would not have put this past him, but I do believe the "proof in the pudding" is to be found in the Bekaah Valley (Syria/Lebanon), placed there for either safekeeping or to arm more terrorists (it's controlled by Hezbollah)...this isn't over yet.

Street.. Yes Saddam was a master at hoodwinking. I saw the article also a few days ago about Iraq's WMD possibly being in the Bekaah Valley and thats a damn scary thought. Like you pointed out that area is controlled by Hezbollah which could be a bigger danger then Al Queda right now IMO. Like you said this is far from over

I just wonder why he would do this? What would he gain by doing this - an element of surprise???
