SIRTE, Libya – Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi has been captured, a Transitional National Council military commander said Thursday.

"He has been captured. He is badly wounded, but he is still breathing," Mohamed Leith told AFP, adding that he saw Qaddafi himself and that he was wearing a khaki uniform and a turban

Everyone jumping on board saying he is DEAD!

Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi is dead, according to a spokesman for the Transitional National Council. Qaddafi died of wounds suffered during his capture near his hometown of Sirte, Reuters and Sky News reported. U.S. officials say they are working to confirm the TNC's claim.
