Teen's Body Found On Construction Site

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Police in southwest Fort Worth are investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy whose body was found in a ditch by his peers.

Authorities worked the case into the late evening hours, trying to determine why the teen was found dead in the ditch of a small corner lot construction site in the 8000 block of Auburn Drive.

Police say teenagers walking home from school found the body. The boy lived only a few streets over from where his body was found.

Neighbors say they're very concerned about the fact that this has happened in what they consider a very quiet neighborhood.

The cause of death is not yet known.
