Who saw the Democratic "Debate?"

#1 Postby coriolis » Wed Sep 10, 2003 8:30 pm

I did, and it turned my stomach. First of all, it was not a debate at all. It was a show. The questions were all "softballs," and it turned into a Bush Bashing contest. None of them could finish their canned statements in the allotted time. All these "candidates" have nothing to offer, except to regurgitate the same old pablum. None of these "candidates" said anything to distinguish him or herself from any of the others, and none of them showed any ability to lead through difficult times. Doubleplus sad.

I saw enough lowlights to make me puke!

The worst offender of them all had to be none other than Dick Gephart! All I heard come out of his mouth over and over was "I told the President"...

2nd in line on the gag meter had to be Kerry.

I saw some of it. I agree with you Ed....nothing but a bunch of Bush bashing. They clearly have nothing valuable to offer so they resort to attacks as usual.

But....what'd you expect?

As I once said, negative campaigning won't get my vote; show me what can be done to improve things, talk to me as a fellow citizen (on equal terms) and not a "child", and I MIGHT consider your viewpoint.

I think one of the biggest things of the night happened to be that you could see what a short fuse Liebermann has.
