I was saddened to hear about the loss of our friend, Miss Mary. I remember the good times chatting on the weather boards with her, and I will always remember her sweet, reassuring personality. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

As best I can tell, it's been about 8 or 10 years since I was last on this forum. (Good thing you all don't purge inactive members!) In any case, I came across this post quite by accident but am saddened to hear the news. I, too, remember Miss Mary from years ago, in the early days of my involvement on various weather forums. As others have said, I remember how kind and caring she always was. It kind of hits home in another way, too, because I pulled up her obituary and she is basically the same age as my parents.
