Okay, lots of DIY'ers here I see. Here's a question for you all....
After you finish a difficult task (repainting a room, laying a tile floor, refinishing intricate woodwork, window treatments (for the ladies I'm sure), hanging wallpaper, building your very own deck, etc.) - do you find yourself staring at your piece of art at different angles, at various moments for a while? I'm strange this way. When I finish something I keep staring at it - fixing this and that. Or just feeling amazed I did it!!! One example: my kitchen was stark white for years. Until I painted the walls a tan/toupe color and a neighbor helped me hang a wallpaper border that just happened to match drapery fabric I found. Catch all that? Anyway, for months after the kitchen was finally done, I found myself just looking at it for a few minutes here and there as if to say - wow, it's done!!!
Hope you all won't think I'm too odd....but I would like to think other DIY'ers do this too.
