Caribbean Islanders, Can You Share?

I'll never live there. Most likely will never even visit.

But I'm curious what it's like to live there in normal (non storm threat) times.

Cost of living, sources of income, utilities (power,water, communications, etc.) day-today activities and so on. More interested in the smaller islands than the big ones.
