YOUR Top Ten Storm2K Faves!

There are more than 1200 reasons why Storm2k works for each of us, but here's my top ten list of why those people are probably here...

10. A variety of topics, organized well and often reviewed and purged, all centered around our common interest in weather.
9. Allowing links and sharing of information about other great sites without it jeapordizing our own strengths.
8. One of the most powerful and user-friendly "home fields" where you can post replies quickly, find topics easily, and send a private message to a friend without looking all over the place on how to do it.
7. A forum that welcomes newbies and gives the rest of us recognition for our contributions.
6. The option to interact in scheduled chat sessions if we wish to take our communication to the next level.
5. Responsible management who are compassionate, understanding, yet fair to those who come here for less than constructive reasons.
4. The real effort that Storm2k founders make to help us interact and learn more about one another through the newsletters, gallery, and other means.
3. While leaving weather as the main focus, not just realizing but ENCOURAGING us to interact on other topics and within our lives.
2. Our concentrating on what we do best, not what other boards do worst....a POSITIVE environment rather than a negtive one.

...and the number 1 reason why Storm2k is at the top of my list?

Unlike most every other places I visit, this board is alive with people who interact, support, and radiate light on one another through the good times and bad.

It has been a wonderful experience to watch people grow and change as a result of that kind of healthy environment.

Thanks Storm2k founders for giving us a safe haven to enjoy not only weather, but the company of others who also enjoy weather.

I'm not sure where to begin on this topic...

But it would have to be everyone and everything here that truly are/is absolutely fantastic for Storm2K!!!!

The people make a wx MB site what it is and EveryWxone here is truly terrific
!!!!

Hats off to the Storm2K Team (I'll probably forget names if I try to mention them) both Admins and Mods...and to others here for the 3 F's that we all enjoy...Fellowship, Friendship and Fun!!

Omilordy, this thread has actually brought tears to my eyes!! Wow! Who could ask for more than what we have got?? I have made so many TRUE friends here! Those I even talk with on a fairly regular basis, life long friends! I can't even begin to list the many things I love about this board but I know one thing that makes this board what it is and that is it's members!! This is just the best group of people I have ever seen who gather in one place! Every time I log on, it is like coming home!

I've already teared up a few times reading all the responses here. Azskyman's list sure was great.....I can't disagree with anyone's faves here - they're all great!!! But mostly I think we appreciate the members and Admin here, am I right? Both seem to come thru loud and clear to me - we're the best!!! And I'm getting all teary eyed too b/c Eric's back!!!! Whatta night.....

Did anyone mention how AWESOME THE MEMBERS OF STORM2K ARE!!!!! The members are what makes this site what it is! Because without the members we are nothing. Thanks also to all of our members for making our jobs as mods and admins so easy. IT COULD BE A LOT WORSE!!!! A WHOLE LOT WORSE!!!!!!

WHILE I HAVE EVERYONES ATTENTION-WHO DELETED BILL'S POST? I DON'T SEE IT ANYWHERE. ????????????

Hey, yeah where is Bill's post?!!! I saw it too. One of his top faves was Azskyman/Steve!!! Now I know I saw that......strange. Are you editing yourself Bill? LOL Your list was great to begin with.....

vbhourtex - I think someone mentioned how great the members are here......he he Just about everyone did!!! Take that TWC!!!

BWAAAA.... You guys are all so awsome ! There are a million gazillion things I love about S2k and have been pretty much mentioned by everyone... The thing I love the most is you people. Each and everyone is as diverse as can be, but your all so kind and genuine.... I just Love ya all to bits.

PS... I WANNA READ BILL'S POST NOW.. Where did it go to?

Bill - oh, Bill - your list is requested again! One of his top 10 faves was our very own Azskyman/Steve's contributions to Storm2K. A very nice way to put it, IMHO. So think hard again Bill......we'll wait! I still don't know where it went either. The other day I was responding to a topic, using the quick reply option, hit submit and it took me back to the Forum. My reply didn't go thru......then I had to leave the computer so I never really got a chance to do it again. Strange....

Hey I'm coming up on #1400!!! Not a milestone, but just the same it's like watching your odometer when your car is approaching a certain #!
