The sniper case

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Tue Oct 14, 2003 10:51 am

Since Storm2k has been here now for just over a year, how is it that we never talked about the DC Sniper? Or did we? I just glanced back at the first pages in the off-topic forum and I didn't see anything about it.

I'm pretty sure it was discussed, at least I thought it was. Hard to believe no one would have brought that subject up---it was awful and so horrifying.

I saw a trailer for a new TV movie coming out on the USA channel soon. It's based on the sniper case. Can't remember the title of this movie right now but I think it airs soon.

I also would have thought we'd discuss this tragedy too. When I have some time I'll look too.

I think it's called "23 Days Of Fear."

We talked long and hard about the DC sniper. When we moved the first time we lost some of the posts unfortunately. :-(

Ah, that explains it. I thought for sure we had since that was one of the first big non-tropical stories at that time. Thanks for solving the mystery, MF!

http://www.usanetwork.com/movies/dcsniper/

Includes this warning:
SPOILER ALERT! If you are unfamiliar with the sequence of actual events that this movie is based on, it is recommended that you do not read the synopsis below before seeing the movie.

I think it should read "If you are unfamiliar with the sequence of actual events that this movie is based on, it is recommended that you crawl out from under the rock you've been living under."

I'm not used to seeing Charles S. Dutton with hair. He looks more like a full-grown Emmanuel Lewis (Webster) than Police Chief Moose. Bobby Hosea plays John Muhammed. I remember him from Xena and a movie about OJ (he played OJ).
