BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — A robbery suspect presumably looking for some dough only made off with bread and chicken.
An unidentified man held up an Arby's restaurant employee last week and made off with the victim's dinner: $4 worth of chicken sandwiches and chicken fingers.
Brooksville Police have no suspects.
"We haven't found anybody with a clogged artery yet," joked Police Chief Ed Tincher.
The 31-year-old victim, whose name is being withheld, left the restaurant holding a small bag around 11 p.m on Oct. 26. After he walked out the back door, an unidentified man jumped from behind a trash bin, according to police.
The suspect held a semi-automatic pistol to the employee's head and demanded what was in the his bag, police said. After the victim handed over his dinner he ran through a parking lot to a nearby McDonald's and called 911. It is unclear if he replaced his stolen meal there.
The suspect is described as being 6-feet tall and 240 pounds. He was reportedly last seen running toward an automobile repair shop.
