Democrats and temper tantrums

Let's not forget the Texas Democrat's temper tantrum, when they ran away out of state (twice!) to avoid the redistricting issue.

That in my opinion is more serious than what is happening in the Senate. And if I hear that Dems are racist one more time I am going to scream.

they are the embodiment of affirmative action, quotas, and race baiting. they also want to keep poor black kids out of the private schools rich liberal kids go to.

HUH??? Rich liberal kids?? Hows about rich conservative kids? I didn't realize that the conservatives were dismayed about the "tax cut for the rich".

Affirmative action was necessary years ago to protect minorities from being passed over for jobs due to their race, sex, etc. Now you see more "reverse" discrimination, but there's still the chance that discrimination will exist.

...and I say to you that today, affirmative action has done more to hold blacks and other minorities back the todays racism. By lowering standards, you lower ones expectation of oneself. Look at the current educational standards.

I agree with you there Jara, Affirmative action no longer has a place in our society. The days where it was needed are long gone.
