Will the U.N. war resolution proposed by Spain, Britain and the United States pass a Security Council vote?

France will be the most likely member to "muck it up", but I wouldn't discount Russia, China or Syria to balance the scales against action.

Have you noticed how the "Fatherland" has been unusually quiet lately? I think Bundeskanzler Gerhardt Schroeder is seeing the groudswell in his people, and is treading carefully (God forbid that he lose his position!).

The US will not present the resolution because they will not have the votes to pass it.

I agree with Ceye. I don't think the second resolution will make it to a vote and that we will proceed with the attack in the next 10 days. Look for some heavy diplomatic action in the next week.

There is a slim possibility that the opposing nations may "abstain" to save face...this opined on FoxNews moments ago.
