Hey gang!
My grandmother does in fact have online access (Yay!) and I'm here downloading Adobe Acrobat so she can view some application files online for her work she does. Thought I'd peek in while I had the time and opportunity.
You guys are great! Thanks for the hugs, prayers, and well-wishes. As reported above, I made it without incident. I'm glad I got to hear Garrett's voice on his voice mail, but I'm sorry to say, I didn't get a text message. I think when I dropped to a basic calling plan (since I hardly use my cell), I lost text messaging. I used to get breaking news on my phone also, and I don't get that any more. I need to call and check. Great to hear Bill and Carrot Top's voices! Jeremy was swell with construction info for me on I-65 and BG Pkwy. And Linda just has the cutest little hoarse Mississippi accent I've ever heard.

Seriously, I hope your throat is feeling better. I appreciate being able to talk to you guys along the way. I was glad to make it all in one long shot instead of having to stop along the way. Once I got to the KY/TN border, I knew I was close enough that I really didn't want to stop, get a room, and pay out $30, $40, whatever bucks when all I had was another 3 hours to go.
I've had some great visits with family and friends so far. Getting ready to go to the mall and see what my grandmother has picked out for me (she wants my approval before she buys it

). The snow has pretty much all melted and it's raining now. It's predicted to rain all day and possible snow tomorrow, but mostly in the mountains. Haven't had a chance to read through all the posts here yet and I'm not sure when I'll get to catch up. But it could be a white Christmas here.
Adobe's about done so I'm gonna sign off now. I'll check in with Linda again before I head out. Maybe I'll get a chance to peek in here again before my visit here is over.
Take care, everyone, and have a great Christmas! ((((((((((Hugs to all))))))))))))
