Indiana Teen Finds, Returns Briefcase Full Of Cash
Restaurant Worker Misplaces Money
ELKHART, Ind. -- A 17-year-old grocery store worker who found a cash-filled briefcase in the store's parking lot apparently had no interest in a late holiday shopping binge.
Rather than spend the bag's contents on himself, Chris Simeri turned the briefcase over to his supervisor, who then arranged for its return to the Panda Express Restaurant in Goshen, Ind., about ten miles southeast of Elkhart.
Simeri discovered the briefcase while corralling shopping carts out of the store's parking lot during a Tuesday night shift.
A restaurant employee had left the briefcase after a quick shopping trip. It contained receipts and large cash deposits.
The employee didn't realize she had forgotten the case until hours she had driven away from the store.

I applaud this teenager for returning the money...he should get a reward...
A great example of doing the right thing..........

I can't remember where I saw this story but I just read about a guy going to Home Depot shopping and found an envelope containing $650. It was an elderly woman's shopping money that her daughter was holding for her. The daughter went to put the money in her purse pocket and it apparantly fell out. It was the woman's only money. The man went to the CS dest at teh store and left his number. The panicked woman contacted him a bit later and they got together at the store and he returned the money. To the applause of alot of people in the store.
