Who knows whats gonna happen now as it should be generally understood that we can not meet these demands. So guess we hope and pray that our govt protects us-and in the meantime-be prepared to seek safety-whatever that may be

It does sound unreasonable.. But this is Al Qaeda here.. We should have expected them to make unreasonable demands like that.

All we have to do.. is pray that nothing happens in the next few weeks/months

I do believe that AQ wants to attack us. As far as these air france flights go, there is one thing that does not make sense to me. It has been reported that maybe Las Vegas might be or have been a target for one or more of these flights. When the WTC was attacked AQ used fully fueled aircraft. Most of the planes where in the air for less then an hour. If AQ used these air france planes they would have been almost completely out of fuel, hence not causing as much damage as the WTC attack. AQ is saying they want to create a dissaster bigger than 9-11, this would not be possible using aircraft with empty fuel tanks..

If my understanding is correct..and it may not be... these airplanes were 747's. That is larger than what was used on 9-11 and in effect could bring down a building without any fuel if hit at full force by one.
