I don't see Dean's numbers dropping soon...at least among the hard-left he's pandering to.

What I do see is that the independent, undecided voters are going to be THE key for 2004 victory...and both parties have to touch base with that crucial element.

Which one will be successful is anyone's guess at this time.

Sure Bill, I can't say I disagree with that opinion either. I meant to say that if and when his numbers fall at some point... it would be because of or at least partially associated to what he said in the last several days.

Any chance Dean has of getting the Nomination will be squashed when he hits the SC primary. History has shown that the first primary in the South is huge, and from what I'm hearing around me from the slim pickings of Democrats I can find, is that Dean is dead.
