Nasdaq rises to above 2,000 after 21 months being below

And the dow today rose 125 points to consolidate at the 10,400+ level.Nasdaq rose to 2,006 after being below 2,000 for the past 21 months and that is a sign that the economy is rebounding. So I guess that the stockholders are pretty happy these days. :)

Nice...... if we keep going like this, DOW will be above 11,000 in about a week or 2.

For the year, the Dow Jones Industrials closed up about 25% and the NASDAQ closed up 50%.

at the beginning of the year, i was thinking 10500 for the dow and 2000 for nasdaq. while 2004 looks good, i think the dow and nasdaq will have a slow upward motion.

Slow and steady sounds great, versus rapid rises and falls.
