According to recently uncovered documents in Iraq, a Syrian trading company with close ties to the ruling regime smuggled weapons and military hardware to Saddam Hussein between 2000 and 2003, establishing Syria as the main channel for illegal transfers to Baghdad during the U.N. embargo, the LOS ANGELES TIMES will report in Tuesday papers...

all that said...IMO north korea is the biggest threat currently (as far as an organized nation is concerned) to our national security...

North Korea wins hands-down, IMHO...but we also have to consider any country that has "license" to make ballistic missiles with North Korean plans/expertise/hardware, which may be more difficult to locate w/o NK's version of glasnost, if ever.

Yep, NK is my top choice too. It is obvious that we can't deal with them diplomatically either, like we could not with Hussein. And we ALL know what happened to him.
