Esta en Cancun senor! Muchas Gracias! Seis senoritas e senoras vamos!

I think that was right.... habla Espanol un poco...

I'm looking forward to it. We leave at 6:00 am Sunday morning and we'll be there until March 20. Whatever information you can send, that will be great. Next week's forecast promises to be in the mid 80's with sun most of the time. One of the days has a chance of showers.

According to Apache Sitgraves FMO, Steve Palmer, we are now NORMAL for the year, by NO MEANS are we out of the drought, I saw some figures in the local *wipe* (paper) today of the runoff flows in the Whiteriver, Salt River and Black River, they are running 120-150% ABOVE normal, this should bring the reserviors on the Salt River chain ALMOST to 50% of capacity, not too bad considering they are at 12-14% right now AND there is still some 140" to GO! The ONLY bad thing, we are 2 weeks away from our WINDY season, this will aide in drying things out again!

I would really love to say it's Spring here, but the temps just don't back it up! Still quite cold around these parts, and I wish it away too! I must say though, this morning was the first morning that I woke up sneezing like I do when my Spring allergies come, and while I hate allergies, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Spring is right around the corner!

DJ - Que??? LOL!!

I believe some of what you we saying is that Cancun is located on the Caribbean sea in the state of Quintana Roo. The hurricane season begins in June. You've provided me with the link for it's climatology and I've picked up a few other words too, (like margaritas :D ), but I was lost after that. Anyway, thank you for your prayers and the information!

Hopefully I won't need to say it, but how do say "I'm sorry" in Spanish? I'm trying to get down a few basic phrases. Thanks!

JQ - it is pnemonia weather! I was the coldest I've been all winter yesterday, today, mid 60's! wow, the sun is out now.

As for the birds, they never leave here, I've seen robins, and cardinals and doves all winter here. Guess we're just this side of too nasty to make the birds want to leave. I've seen hummingbirds already!

Come on Spring!!!!

Jacki, I suffer from hay fever, too, usually year-round. But since having started allergy shots (I get two once a week at home that my Mom administers...one in each arm) they really seem to be helping me grately! :)
Of course, I get new serum from this nurse at an ear, nose and throat clinic in my city area every couple months or so...since the nurse gives me my first shot from new serum...and then a ten minute wait to see if there will be any possible reaction to it. I have only had ONE bad reaction...throat didn't tighten up because I had a Zyrtec at home before having had that shot! :o
Quite a lot more of a scare it could have been though for sure if it hadn't been for that Zyrtec! :o

OW! I don like shots! I don't know what I am even allergic to, but I don't have symptoms in the winter season, and I have only been having symptoms for about the last 3 years, ugh!

Some things among about 25 things that I'm allergic to, are:

1) Animal dander
2) Pollen (including ragweed)...I wear a nose/mouth mask to help my Dad mow!
3) Mold spores
4) Dust mites
5) Heavy-scented colognes/perfumes
6) Certain cleansers like Pinesol (Whew the fumes that gives off!)
7) Even some forms of Wheat

Wow! Well, I have had many animals all my life, and never had symptoms until recently, so that narrows it down a lil bit...
