I have a gas furnace, dryer, stove and hot water heater. My summer bill averages about $30 and the winter bill can get as high as $150.

My electric bill (which includes water, sewer and trash) runs about $175 in the summer and about $100 in the winter.

The temperature in the house depends on my hot flashes (LOL)!!!!!!!!!

Gas everything here - heater, stove, and water heater. Bill is $784.43. j/k but it seems like it should be that high with how much we use.

One thing is for sure, gas is more dangerous than electric. Gas leaks can cause problems, while an electric fire is bad, but isn't a leak.
