My beef intake is very small anymore. I instead eat more chicken and fish...and we have learned to substitute ground turkey where ground beef has been used in the past....for sauces and pastas, etc.. It really is a taste that has been acquired, but works for us!
I say this after having just finished a ground sirloin burger right off the grill....

It's all part of evolution. The bigger and or smarter animals eat the smaller and or less intelligent animals. We wouldn't be here today if people wouldn't have eaten animals to survive. If everyone had your ideas, then our economy would suffer, not to mention we would have a huge overpopulation of many animals. The deer would probably be running the White House by now. You are certainly entitled to your opinion but I completely disagree with your reasoning. If you are ever faced up against a hungry shark, make sure to tell it that it shouldn't eat you because you are a living organism.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. And please do not confuse the two. If an animal was attacking me with the intention of taking my life then I would definitely choose me. Your snide comments do not impress me one bit. If you want to debate my reasoning, then let's go, otherwise keep your personal opinions about my ideas and what you think of them to the PMing.
