But still 2003 was a very strong year for the economy to recover. But Bush hopes that the economy keeps growing in a fast pace and not goes the other way as it is an election year.

This is not as shocking as headlines make it sound. The forecast had been for a modest 4.3% growth. Economic History shows that the 4th Quarter shows slower growth because Companies are navigating End-of-Year procedures, inventory reductions and loss production time for the Holidays. These numbers are actually strong for a 4th Quarter.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

i doubt we'll see a big boom in the economy until the economy is at the top of the list with regards to our governments policies.
