I agree 100% with what the president said about this theme because the black market of selling WMD'S is very evident at this moment the latest evidence is that Pakistani scientist who sold nuclear secrets to North Korea,Iran and other nations.

Although we now have Saddam in custody and therefore he'd be safe from the consequences, I wish all their crap would backfire on al-Qaeda and their WMD supply would be involved in some massive catastrophe while still in their possession. Then Bush could say, "Yup, thought so." And the rest of us could sit back and smile with him.
That way, there would be no attack on us and nothing for the doves to fuss about when we defend ourselves. They couldn't do anything to us and we wouldn't have to do anything to them. They would do it to themselves.

Pakistan is still our best friend in that region despite that scientist episode and in fact it is helping the US in the hunt for OBL the #2 of Al-Qaeda and the taliban leader M Omar.

Remember that the Taliban ("students [of the Q'u'ran]"] started out IN Pakistan as an offshoot of the "mujaheddin" fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan...mostly in the northwest areas least under Pakistani government control.
And within the past week, Musharraf declared that he would close the "madrasas" (Wahhabi religious schools, boys/men only) to help clean out radicalism within Pakistan.
