I go in order...but along the way favorites are wx forecast, sports, comics, Dear Abby and crossword puzzle. :D I usually glance at the headlines and then a bit later read the articles. Oh and...have to glance at the obits, too...
On Thursday enjoy looking at the Outdoor section and especially during the hunting season seeing the youngsters with their first kills. :)

I glance through the newspaper. I hear and/or watch the news from the Fox News Channel and the local affiliates.

JQ, you mentioned that you enjoy working the newspaper crossword...good thing then that we don't have to share a puzzle...the 'fur would be flying'!

BTW...I've seen a clue often that is for Jai___ (it's 4 letters)...but I don't have any idea what it means, though...and that's after working (easy and medium) ones for several years now. :) Do you like to solve them in pencil or pen? I used to in pencil...nowadays in pen...just correct errors by enhancing the new letter over the old. :D

Jai Alai -- it's a sport that's popular in Florida and was depicted during the opening credits of "Miami Vice."

I like doing crossword puzzles, but rather not do them. My mother really enjoys them.

I end up doing the "Wonderword" and at times the "Wordy-Gurdy" when I am offline.

Sometimes my Dad and I share the crossword...if he gets really stuck on a clue I offer my assistance and vice versa...right now he has an electronic crossword dictionary at his apartment in Raleigh...I have an old crossword reference paperback book that has started coming apart...really should go out and get a new one.

Tom, I imagine that playing Scrabble helps you a great deal with honing your word knowledge, too. :)

Sure playing Scrabble can do that, Eric. However, if you get the right letters.

I lose more often than I win [against my mother] at two player Scrabble than with three or four players.
