I know I could try to look it up myself.. But do any of you guys know what the highest barometer reading ever recorded is..? I know a few years back we actually made it up to like 30.70 here.. I'm just curious

The answer I found was 1083 mb or 31.98 inches.. That's some pretty high pressure lol

Yes, It's at sea level. And that really is an extraordinary SLP measurement.

I'd have to look it up, but if memory serves me there was a 32.01" reading in Siberia once.

There may have been a higher pressure measured in Israel (I believe 32.06"), but that was recorded at well below sea level, so it is not counted as a record.

In my 23 years of keeping barometer readings, I had a record low of 28.78" and a record high of 31.00" even. So that number is VERY impressive.
