So these people are actually Republicans hiding under the Dem. party affiliation? Come on... to tell me that the Democrats don't criticize their own party members is hilarious. Remember the Democratic senator or congresswoman from Georgia who said that she thought that 9-11 was staged? There was an outcry from the Dems. I just don't think that the Republican party is as wonderful as some of you make them out to be. Are they better than the Dems...That is a definite possibility, but to always lay the fault on the Dems is WRONG. Last time I checked...the first Jew ever to run for President came from the Dem. party.

It's not only support of Israel. It's that they hate us as "infidels" or non-Mulims. The radical Muslims, not all Muslims, want to return to the 18th century. We all know that's not going to happen. The remarks were short-sighted and reek of anti-Sematism and have no place in our elected leadership.

This man has made a mistake and I think he realizes it. Lott didn't resign and I don't think that Moran should either. We have gotten resign happy as of late. He should be scolded...and his punishment should come when it is time for election.

Trent Lott did resign as Senate Majority Leader. That is a big step down. No one would accept Lotts apology either. The liberal biased media made sure of that. I believe the media should do the same with this Democrat. The Jews should be like the African Americans and raise a big stink and he will be forced to resign.

Will Trent Lott be re-elected to the Senate? Sure he will. :wink:

This is what you said... Congressman Moran said that Jews had a lot of political power... you guys said that was wrong of him. So if the Jews can get a Congressman to resign because of his opinion about them doesn't that mean they are a powerful minority, much like the African-Americans and Hispanics.

I am not saying that is a bad thing, mind you...
