So much for the lower 48 in 29 seconds...we had to know at least that in FIRST grade (Sacred Heart Catholic School), and more besides.

And that was 1957, ladies and gentz.

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

Awesome, Pam! 8-)

Along with meteorology, I enjoy U.S. Geography... so need less to say, it took me about 1½ to 2 minutes. :D

We touched on this knowing where all 50 states are located in the Storm2K chatroom, I am sure OtherHD remembers.

U.S. Geography was only touched on in early elementary school in Massachusetts, in "Social Studies."

Years ago, when I was teaching myself where the states were located, I would only confuse the locations of Wyoming & Colorado and Mississippi & Alabama, but that really didn't last too long. :)

I passed! But when I was done, the UP of Michigan was still colored green. I guess a third grader is not supposed to consider it a part of the state.
