The decomposed body of a young woman was found in a Kissimmee, Fla., motel Saturday night, according to Local 6 News.




Investigators said the victim is a woman in her 20s and died as long as five days ago.

Detectives believe the woman was the victim of a crime, according to Local 6 News.

"The room is still going to be full of evidence and stuff we can use -- and that 's what we're working," Kissimmee police spokesman Chad Durham said. "We're just taking what we can find in the room, using that evidence and hopefully we can turn over some leads and we can bring some justice for this victim."

Police did not identify the victim.

{I am never happy when I see stories like this.. But when they get this close it makes me hope it was either domestic or suicide because if not.. then there might be a killer running around.. }

I know how you feel. We had a couple who were in a domestic dispute on Friday night...he ended up shooting her to death in the parking lot of a Pier One Imports just a couple miles from us. Never comfortable to have that kind of stuff going on ANYWHERE but it is especially uncomfortable when it is in your own part of town.

thats awful. i was witness to a drunk driver killing a person on the highway. what i saw afterwards was too gross to describe.

You'd think motel employees would have noticed a powerful stench emitting from the room somehow before that many days elapsed.

Really. I guess this was the kind of motel where people lived full time, or the cleaners would have noticed it.
