That's GREAT and YES....bow huntin' counts, to me, someone whos a good shot with a bow is to be commended! It takes a good eye and a great deal of patience to hunt with a bow....I could never master a compound bow, my choice of weapon for dove, quail, duck (sorry!) is a Remington Wingmaster Model 870 12 gauge with a 28" barrel, full choke.

It was difficult and LOL, I didn't say I actually hit one, did I?

Before my Dad died, he and I would go hunting. I love venison, rabbit and squirrel. I'll have to say I love fishing more.

I am not a hunter. I never will be unless it is of necessity to live(ie Armageddon or close). We do not have guns in our house and don't plan on it(I never say never). However, if one eats what they kill, I have no problem with it, unless of course what is being killed is a truly endangered species. I have eaten just about any wild animal you can think of and maybe some you can't. Most of them taste like"chi...." Sorry, I couldn't resist!! Killing for sport, just pure and simple SUCKS!!!!

LOL! I was just reminded of back when I worked in the ER. One of my co-workers was a nurse who was a Mennonite. I had heard a radio commercial one day for a furniture company, advertising "Mennonite gun cabinets". Silly me, I didn't think about hunting at first and I asked her what in the world they were doing advertising a gun cabinet supposedly made by a group of people who were pure pacifists and didn't believe in killing their fellow man in any shape or form (abortion, capital punishment, etc.). She smiled, winked, and said, "We have to eat, ya know."
