The Law of the Land ...yeah right! :(

#1 Postby j » Tue Mar 30, 2004 8:41 am

This is how it works: The House votes. The Senate votes. The bill then goes to the Presidents desk to be signed. So…..do you think that’s it? Do you trust that a law that has been bitterly debated and fought over for years now goes into affect?

Think again.

Specifically…lets talk about abortion. Lets talk about The Partial Birth Abortion Ban that President Bush signed into law, and the Bill now before him waiting for his signature: The Unborn Victims of Violence Act.

Partial Birth abortion are STILL being performed today and will continue to be performed. The same thing is going to happen with UVOVA.

How can this be you ask?

As you may recall, when the President signed the Partial Birth Abortion Ban into law late last year, the pro-abortion forces immediately fought it by filing lawsuits in states across the country. The Partial Birth Abortion Ban is NOT IN EFFECT and is being held up in federal court by pro-abortion judges.

Pro-abortion groups will surely do whatever it takes to stop the UVOVA from ever becoming the law of the land.

Should any one of you, be so unfortunate to have a friend or family member, and the soon to be born baby killed in a violent crime, remember the following organizations have done everything in their power to see to it, that the perpetrator of these crimes, is protected, while the victims are, as usual, forgotten:

National Organization for Women (NOW)
National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL)
Planned Parenthood (the nation’s largest abortion provider)
American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
National Abortion Federation

I know that has been banned in this state. Hopefully other states will follow.
