Local church soaked by sudden storms...

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Fri Apr 09, 2004 12:45 pm

A local church was soaked by a sudden severe thunderstorm as it rolled through during Thursday afternoon. First Baptist Church of Orlando was having it's roof repaired, when the storm blew in.. causing the sanctuary to be completely soaked and water logged. The church has a $1 million dollar audio visual system that allows it's 9:00am service to be broadcast on live TV on Sunday mornings. That is known to be the biggest concern up to this point. A church spokesman stated that he believes "most of these things happen for a reason, God has a plan and 10-12,000 people will be here to celebrate Easter Sunday

That is sad about the Church. The congregation and the preacher are correct, it does not matter where you hold services because God knows. :)
