will cost you between 5 and 7 coolness points. Now I'm sure you're upset, but probably not as upset as this kitty:

Gotta be fake.

"Whittier Daily News" is an actual newspaper. But that says "Whitier" (with one "T") as if to make it seem real without really using an actual newspaper's name and risk getting into hot water.

Second, don't most cats pupils get large when they're scared or "under attack?" This one still has thin, narrow pupils that look make it look like a regular, happy cat's eyes.

Not saying it's fake, but it just looks unnatural.

Coolness points? Oh well...ya lose some, ya gain some.

I don't know Duck, two the feline's least approved human behavior is going on there - holding the tail, and spraying with water.

Well, the handlers hands don't appear to be wet (I don't see any glistening drops or anything) and we really can't tell if that's his tail or a prop made to look like his (or her?) tail is being pulled.

Plus, the properties of the photo show that it's posted on the same site he got his weird "Spongebob"-looking avatar/icon that he posted on another thread.

If it was on a real news site, I'd be less skeptical. But since there's no true source for it, I'm a bit iffy on the validity.

It's real.

When it was on the home page it had that photo attached. They apparently don't archive photos. Kieth is a real photographer for them, and there graphics artist apparently made an embarrassing error.

And I own that site where the "weird Spongebob-looking avatar/icon" is being served from. We can't attach files here so I have to use my server. :-)

So, the cat is being baptized? Um....okay.

Sorry, I'm just a natural-born skeptic. Didn't mean to sound like a doubting Thomas. Until I know for certain, I'm inclined to Google and Snopes the heck out of something if I want to find out more or I go to the source if I'm told something by someone else that I think isn't right.

Thanks for the clarification. :)
