After a grueling two hour internet summit meeting, Marshall F. Dolphin of http://www.storm2k.org and Freaky Wx. Chick of http://www.wright-weather.com have announced a truce.

Several weeks of tension, strife, and guerilla warfare tactics between the two weather communities had worn both representatives of their communities weary. Mrs. Chick smiled at the cameras and stated, "I haven't slept for days. I couldn't eat. I couldn't even go work out!" Mr. Dolphin chuckled when asked for comments. "I served nine years in the military, but none of my training had prepared me for this battle."

When asked what factors had contributed to the recent skirmishes, both representatives declined to comment. "The casualties of war were unfortunate, however we will do everything we can to ensure that this will never happen again", Mr. Dolphin stated. Mrs. Chick nodded in agreement. "It saddens me that our communities were ravaged by war. We will not look back at the past, but look forward to a brighter future."

When asked if both internet boards were now going to form an alliance, Mr. Dolphin stated: "We both know that we are oil and water. We know we will never mix." Mrs. Chick grinned. "We may be oil and water, but that sure is better than pizz and vinegar!"

Mr. Dolphin who is a conservative at heart called the press conference to a quick close. "I have to get back to work. I am glad we have resolved this to the best of our abilities, but I really must get back to work!" Mrs. Chick, known for her liberal discipline mixed with congeniality concurred. "I just want some sleep!", she added. "Now that I know our boards are at peace with one another, I can finally..." She never finished her statement as she layed her head on her desk and feel into a peaceful slumber.
