Earth day

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu Apr 22, 2004 6:09 am

Today april 22nd is earth day and it is important that we remember that this world that we are living in now is more and more contaminated with all kinds of pollution things and the humans in this planet must preserve the enviroment as clean as possible and do our part to do things that will help planet earth be less contaminated such like recycling trash etc.I hope that the goverments around the world unite against polluting this planet in many ways and help the people live without having to worrie about water polluted, monoxide carbon in the air, more desforestation etc.

You're so right Cycloneye. We can't just sit back and think that later generations will take care of the environment. We need to do it now to ensure the continuation of mankind and all of Earth's inhabitants. When I was younger I could give two flips about the environment, but now since Dustin has been born, I actually care about the preservation of our world. If we all pitch in just a little, that adds up to alot. Happy Earth Day everyone!

BTW, Happy B-Day JQ's mom

Only to look at the amazon forest being destroyed slowly in South America is only one example of how the earth is changing in terms of preserving the enviroment as good as possible but as we are now in the 21rst century $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and plenty of it is what dictates everything including yes the enviroment. And many people are screaming because global warming in part is caused by mankind and it's actions and climate changes haved occured in the last 2-3 decades with the last event a hurricane making landfall in Brazil first time ever.

Agree Johnnathan mother nature has it's mind of it's own and mankind can't change it as some people are trying to do about seeding hurricanes.

Unfortunately sometimes with technological advancement man thinks he can mess with mother nature. In the end he learns he cannot  While we can learn to understand her we won't ever be able to change her :)

We must love our mother The Earth. Sing songs of the Earth, tell stories of her power, tell stories of a harmonious future with her, work together and in peace to help her and each other. Peace to you all!

My birthday is april 25th !:)
