I know this may not be popular but the US Constitution prohibits involuntary servitude. And the volunteer Army is what makes our country great. The people who do join do so because they want to and will do what they can to protect our country. YOu force people to do so, and you've got problems on your hands with unwilling troops.

Coppertop is thinking along the same lines, Marshall; if he does enter service, it will be Air Force.
Which will make him a fourth-generation "air power" advocate. For almost 90 years, my family has been either flying, or in a support role in the Aviation Section, U.S. Army Signal Corps (WW I), U.S. Army Air Forces, United States Air Force Reserve (WW II/Korea/Cold War), or Regular USAF (RVN).

Yes I would do it. I tried when I was younger but being Type I Diabetes makes this question mute.
Its easy to say yes, but I am confident that I would serve.
