Just saw this on CNN. There had been rumors that he had been killed or defected, but these are not true.

He Does Well

#2 Postby Steve H. » Wed Mar 19, 2003 12:54 pm

Actually, Aziz has served Saddam well. I figured he'd be smart enough to defect. I have to give the devil his due, he has done his best to keep world opinion in Saddam's favor. But you can fool some of the people some of the time. The Buck stops at the White House now. Time to remove the liar. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the war option. I participated in moratoriums in the '60s. But I grew up and left that business behind me. It's a different world today, and we must stand up to this deceitful mentality. Again, I don't want my grandchildren to grow up in a world filled with fear and terror. There are costs for freedom. There are also costs for ignoring the threats and believing they will just go away. Today we cannot ignore them. Besides, now will be an easier time to do this than 5 years from now. Take the pain up front I say. Stay safe all!!
