Flags at half-staff on the Fourth Of July

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Wed Jun 09, 2004 10:22 am

Did anyone happen to notice that, since Bush ordered flags to be flown at half-staff for 30 days after Reagan's death, that means flags will be flown that way on Independence Day?

Nope, I hadn't noticed that. I wonder if that's going to happen.

It is standard procedure for flags to be flown at half staff for 30 days after a President's death. This is not unique to GW. But yes, that is an interesting point Shawn.
