Then what accounts for Gore's success in winning the popular vote in the last presidential election, or for the dead heat between Bush and Kerry now?

Most are actually plumbers or do-it-yourselfers, knocking a knuckle on a pipe or slicing a finger open on broken porceline. Since work-related injuries are *supposed* to be reported, these make it into the statistics. Then there's the occasional stubbed toe from walking into one in the middle of the night on the way to the bathroom, the once-in-a-blue moon busted rump of the woman of the house from slipping off the rim when the man of the house didn't put the seat down, and the very rare occurence of one pinching one's fingers between seat and lid.

Oh well...such is life in the tropics, I guess. One consolation is that insects are said to be high in protein.

Ewwwwww!!!! I'd probably die after I got through cleaning my mouth with bleach! I disinfect everything if I even get one in my house and they're pretty common here in Southeast Texas. I HATE ROACHES!!! YUK! YUK! YUK! I exterminate quite often to avoid them.
