KSDK Channel 5 in St.Louis is reporting that authorities are monitoring bridges in the city due to a terrorist threat. Al-Qaida Operative Kahlid Shaikh Mohammed told investigators St. Louis bridges were a possible target for terrorists strikes.

St. Louis police are not saying which of the city's seven bridges over the Mississippi River are being monitored.

I have a pretty good idea which one they might target...the one with the highest volume of traffic (most people potentially killed), and I'm not about to reveal which bridge it is.

I know of two that are particularly crowded as I spent a summer up in Granite City, Ill. with friends of the family a few years ago. I hope nothing comes of this! At least the law enforcement officials are aware.
