Additional areas may soon be outlined as being in an increased threat level, including the Nasdaq site and the United Nations. These details may be made public in the "hours and days ahead".

Car and/or truck bombings appear to still be the highest threat of attack.

This is JUST my opinion for what it's worth......with ALL the security around these places, why, how, when could they get thru the barriers? Really, with these so called *targets* under a microscope, how in the HADES can they get thru UNLESS, UNLESS....there's something we don't know about! Naaaaaaaaaa, our GOVT wouldn't do that to us now would they?

A lot of times these warnings are used as deterents... to let the terrorists know that we are onto them -- in a way it helps to let them know it will be harder to hit us in that regard.

True Garrett however, like it's been said in one thread (it's a poll...I'll find it here in a second).....this maybe EXACTLY what these punks want.....put a HUGE security force around these places and totally forget about the west, the Az/Mexico border, pretty SCAREY, ESPECIALLY with the info we have!

Let me restate my previous admonition, re: the UN...give them 60 days to leave the US for a more friendly atmosphere (France? Haiti?), then turn the building into affordable housing for the already space-strapped New Yorkers, and use the General Assembly area as a shopping mall.
