What a log time in the making. There were a variety of forces at work through the years to make this happen. I circulated a cloud stamp petition years ago...probably that late 80's or early 90's.

A meterologist (former NWS employee, too) named Mike Mogil played a big part back then. I think Jack Borden of For Spacious Skies has been tugging and pulling to make this happen for years too.

It is no small undertaking, but they are beautiful.

I will surely buy plenty...to keep and to use! And to frame, too!

Thanks for reminding us.

I am so excited! I'll have to buy a lifetime supply... haha How long does the post office usually run an issue of stamps? I live/work in Norman, Oklahoma.. I have a feeling they'll be a little difficult to get a hold of here, competing with NWS, SPC, OU, etc! haha

Thanks Shannon! :D

I have a stamp collection my Grandfather started me on years ago. I remember when the Elvis stamps came out - I quickly bought a sheet of them. I'll be adding the clouds to my collection.
