Finnally after 17 days of operation Iraqi freedom the US has made it's entrance to the citie of Baghdad but as I type this post no big resistance haved occured but scattered ones.But dont be complicient because it may be a trap that little resistance so far inside the city has ocurred but the comming hours will be critical in the final outcome of the war phase.

Watching some video of our troops in Baghdad this morning. I just have to say these Iraqi's are not real smart sheeesh. Showed white trucks of their soilders trying to run in to our tanks with the truck yea right

We call that recon in force! :-) Looks like we may try and cut-off the southern end of Bagdad in a day or two. Take Bagdad apart in slices! The tanks and Bradley's were definitely sending a message that we're here and coming to get you when we want too!

Yes to isolate the regime and to exterminate the elements that are left of the Iraqi forces but it wont be a easy thing to do as some of the iraqi foreces may hide in residential buildings and then urban warfare may begin.
