National Geographic Lead Story....

#1 Postby pojo » Wed Sep 22, 2004 9:29 pm

If you have been paying attention to newsstands lately, you might have seen what the lead story is on the September 2004 issue of National Geographic... it is Global Warning.

Here's just a few stories in the huge article....
CO2 levels rising, ice caps melting, Sea Level Rise, Alaskan Record Heat, Deserts Drying up (oxymoron)

Just a few main topics the numerous articles...
Geosigns (geographical changes)
Ecosigns (Ecology changing)
Timesigns (Then and now)

I was told by a work colleague to pick up the Sept 2004 issue... it is money well spent!

What about an increase in wild tropical seasons as what the Atlantic, Caribbean and GOM have had for 2004?

I haven't read anything about that yet, but I hope it does come up in the article.
